Tekashi 6ix9ine went live on Instagram on Friday (May 8th) to debut his new single “GOOBA.” His 13-minute live broke a record, with 2 million people tuned in. The livestream started with 6ix9ine's girlfriend Jade and her sister Baddi Gi twerking to “GOOBA.” The rapper then emerged dangling a pair of handcuffs while playing Inner Circle's “Bad Boys.”
During the live, Tekashi addressed critics like Meek Mill calling him out for snitching, saying, “You know why people so mad? ‘Cause they thought it was over for me. They counted me out. Y’all could never cooperate with the government and come back. Y’all could never do that. I’m a living legend at the age of 24 years old. Shout out to Tory, shout out to Drake, shout out to Bad Bunny, y’all ni**as could never. Stop playing with me.”
He also defended snitching, saying,”If there is a street code and if something’s so-called loyalty and everything and no snitching and all of that, I get it. Where was the loyalty when you was sleeping with my baby mother? Where was the loyalty when you were caught on the wiretap trying to kill me? Where was the loyalty when you tried to kidnap my mother? Where was the loyalty when you were stealing millions of dollars from me? So who broke it first? I get it. Don’t fight fire with fire. I’m sorry. But what did I do wrong?”
Snoop Dogg had a lot to say about Tekashi. He wrote, “They gotta stop pushing this rat. All these media outlets making snitching cool. I'm old school. F*ck 69 and everybody pushing his line right now all New York GZ feel me on this and if you don't *u2. @meekmill if you allow sucka sh*t you a sucka. Love you cuz stay sucka free.”
