The bankruptcy of the Menominee Nation Arena in Oshkosh could come to an abrupt end next month.
Bayland Buildings is asking a federal court to throw out the case. The company is owed $13 million by the arena owners, Fox Valley Pro Basketball.
Bayland points out Fox Valley made no protection payments to them in the month of April, brought in no revenue during the coronavirus closure, and also failed to pay its property taxes.
If the case is dismissed, Bayland could foreclose on the arena, and take ownership of it.
A hearing on Bayland’s request is scheduled for June 10th.
