The owners of Mabel Murphy’s Bar in Oshkosh will rebuild.
City Manager Mark Rohloff appreciates the business is coming back, almost two years after the bar was destroyed by fire.
The new Mabel’s will sit on the old footprint, under a special permit the Oshkosh Common Council approved. The building will sit closer to the intersection of Main Street and W. Irving Avenue than what’s allowed, under current zoning rules.
