The Oconto County district attorney is clearing two Sheriff’s deputies of any criminal charges in the shooting death of a 26-year-old man.
Jacob Bubb was shot and killed in the basement of a home in the Suring area in May.
The state justice department says Bubb had a gun and was threatening suicide when the deputies used their tasers on him. Investigators report Bubb then pointed the gun at the deputies, and he was shot.
Bubb had warrants out for his arrest, and the homeowner gave them permission to search the house.
