A teacher at Bay Port High School died today, after catching coronavirus.
Howard-Suamico Superintendent Damian LaCroix says Heidi Hussli was hospitalized briefly.
Counselors will be available at the school tomorrow. In-person and online classes at Bay Port will be canceled Monday and Tuesday.
LaCroix calls the news heart-wrenching, and he says Hussli’s positivity and passion for her students and her job left a lasting mark on the school community.
Her family members say they’re devastated, and she’s now at peace.
