Fond du Lac Police have now identified the victim of an early morning homicide.
The body of 26-year-old Benzel Rose was found at a home in the 300 block of 8th Street around 12 a.m. yesterday. Fond du Lac officers were dispatched to a home following a 911 call. Police say Rose had apparent gunshot wounds. Police are investigating what led up to the shooting and trying to identify potential suspects. No one is in custody. An autopsy is planned to determine exactly how he died.
