Some local police and sheriff’s departments are hoping to win an online vote to help their K-9 units.
Voters have until 11:59 p.m. Tuesday to make their choice. Outagamie County Sheriff’s Deputy Mike Duven says winners will get up to $5,000.
The company Aftermath will provide funding for the top vote-getters in different regions of the country. Aftermath works with departments to clean crime scenes.
Fox Valley Metro, and the police departments in Oshkosh and Menasha are also looking for votes.
