Shawano County campground owner in custody after failing to appear in court

The controversial owner of a Shawano County campground is in jail. An arrest warrant was issued this week for Ann Retzlaff after she failed to appear in court for an initial appearance on charges of Fleeing an Officer and Reckless Endangerment. Retzlaff is accused of leading a sheriff’s deputy on a chase back in May. She claims to be a “sovreign citizen” and not bound by laws or the courts.
