Appleton sees a rash of garage thefts

Appleton Police have advice on how to stop home burglaries: lock the doors. Lieutenant Meghan Cash says officers responded to three garage thefts last week alone. She thinks they could have been avoided if the victims had locked their garage doors. She says they see many crimes of opportunity.
She thinks it’s a good idea to have motion sensor lights. Cash says people should get to know their neighbors so they can watch each other’s property.
