Black Creek man dies in two vehicle crash on Hwy 47

A two-vehicle collision on Highway 47 in the Town of Black Creek results in the death of one of the drivers. The Outagamie County Sheriff’s Department says a van and a box truck collided at the intersection of Highway 47 and County Highway A around 1:45 Tuesday afternoon. Investigators say the van failed to yield the right of way. The box truck then struck driver’s side of the van. The driver of that van, a 19-year-old Black Creek man died at the scene. The driver of the box truck, a 40-year-old man from St. Cloud, Wisconsin, was treated at the scene and released and is cooperating with investigators. The collision closed both lanes of Highway 47 between County Highway A and 12 Corners Road for three-and-a-half hours.
