Appleton woman charged in fatal crash pleads not guilty

An Appleton woman charged in connection with a fatal crash last fall says she is “not guilty”. Irma Garcia enters the plea in Outagamie County Court to one count of First Degree Reckless Homicide. Garcia was allegedly high on mushrooms and traveling at 106-miles an hour when she crashed into a vehicle driven by Silia Hurula at the intersection of East Calumet and Onieda Streets back in September. No trial date has been set yet.
