One of incumbent U.S. Senator Ron Johnson’s Democratic opponents was not surprised that Johnson is choosing to seek a third term. Outagamie County Executive Tom Nelson tell Hayley Tenpas on “Focus Fox Valley” he planned his campaign with the idea that Johnson would run despite saying in 2016 he would not seek re-election.
Nelson is competing with 11 other declared candidates for the Democratic U.S. Senate nomination.
