Appleton’s Department of Public Works expects road crews to continue salting and plowing throughout the day.
The DPW expects plowing to be finished by 5:00 PM on Monday.
To help plow crews along, residents are being asked not to park on city streets unless it’s absolutely necessary.
Residents are also reminded not to shovel or blow show into the street, which is a violation of city ordinances.
The DPW also recommends that people allow extra time to get where they’re going because bitter cold temperatures are expected to keep most streets snow covered and slippery.
