An injunction has been lifted in Outagamie County, allowing seven members of ThedaCare’s stroke team to take jobs with Ascension Wisconsin.
Seven of the stroke care team’s 11 members accepted work at St. Elizabeth Hospital and were supposed to start those jobs on Friday. However, ThedaCare filed for an injunction, claiming Ascension recruited the employees and asked the court to give it time to hire new employees.
The ThedaCare unit is the only Level II trauma and comprehensive stroke care unit in the Fox Valley. ThedaCare says without those employees it would lose its accreditation.
