COVID-19 hospitalizations in Wisconsin have dropped to their lowest levels since last summer. The state is seeing an average of 58 new patients a day over the past week–the fewest since August of 2021. The number of positive tests reported by the state Department of Health Services on Wednesday was 2,953–dropping the weekly average below three-thousand to 2,864. There were another 33-deaths reported–with 18 happening in the past month. Brown County added four deaths. Manitowoc County reported one.
