Area pastor arrested on child pornography charges

The pastor of several area churches is arrested on child pornography charges. The Outagamie County Sheriff’s Department took Rick Haberland into custody today (Thursday) on 20-counts of possession of child porn and possession of meth. Haberland served as pastor at Oneida United Methodist Church, New Hope United Methodist Church in De Pere, Suring and Hickory United Methodist Churches in Suring, and Tabor United Methodist Church in Eden. The arrest came after a tip on Haberland’s internet activities from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.
