Tenant accused of starting fatal fire in Sturgeon Bay

Sturgeon Bay Police make an arrest in connection with a fatal bar fire. Anthony Gonzalez is accused of setting the fire at Butch’s Bar early Tuesday morning that killed two people and seriously injured another. Police say Gonzalez was renting one of the apartments above the bar–but have not released any information on the cause of the fire. Gonzalez will be charged with two counts of Reckless Homicide and seven counts of Reckless Endangerment. He will make his initial appearance in Door County Court this afternoon.
