Ukrainian-Americans in Green Bay are collecting relief supplies for their native land. That includes humanitarian aid for civilians and armed forces members. A collection drive is now underway for civilian items including non-perishable food, clothes and footwear for men, women and children, thermal underwear, tents, mattresses and sleeping bags. Basic military supplies like power banks, goggles, thermal socks, tracking boots and first aid supplies are also needed. Cornerstone Mortgage in De Pere is one of the collection sites. Employee Tanya Sushkova has spoken with family members in Ukraine and says they’re struggling.
In addition to Cornerstone Mortgage on Mid Valley Drive in De Pere, St. Matthew Orthodox Church on Ravenswood Drive in Green Bay, and Relyco on Scheuring Road in De Pere are accepting donations through March 14th. A complete list of need items can be found at this link: _Press-Release-4
