MADISON, Wis–The number of new coronavirus cases in Wisconsin eclipses 1,000 for a second-straight day. The state Department of Health Services reports 1,310 positive tests on Thursday, down slightly from the 1,500 the day before.
It’s the first time Wisconsin has had more than a thousand new cases on back-to-back days since February 17th and 18th. The weekly average is now 832 new cases a day–the highest level that has been since February 23rd.
Outagamie County reported one additional death yesterday.
