APPLETON, Wis– A member of the Appleton Common Council wants to commit a third of the city’s American Rescue Plan Act funding toward upgrading the water system.
Alder Chad Doran says the money from Washington should go to help citizens directly.
Doran wants to use $6-million of the $18-million in ARPA funds to replace all four and six-inch water mains still in use with modern eight-inch pipes.
