OSHKOSH, Wis–A former U-W Oshkosh employee will not have to spend anytime behind bars for stealing from the school. Instead, Michael VanVonderen is sentenced in Winnebago County Court to four years on probation for Felony Theft.
VanVonderen was an information technology specialist for U-W-O in 2019 when he sold school computer equipment and kept the money. He has also been ordered to pay more than 28-thousand dollars in restitution.
