MENASHA, Wis–Menasha will not join the trend of No Mow May this year. The Common Council has defeated a proposal to allow people to not mow their lawn for the month, as it it believed to help pollinators early in the spring. Alderman Stan Sevenich doesn’t see it as a viable solution………..
Sevenich adds that he has never received as much public opposition to a measure than he did to No Mow May.
Meanwhile, the Village of Little Chute posted on its Facebook page this week that there are no exceptions to their weed control ordinance, and that all grass must remain below eight inches in height.
