A Green Bay man is accused of making violent threats against an Ashwaubenon church. Nicholas Schneider is charged in Brown County Court with Terrorist Threats and Unlawful Use of a Telephone.
According to the criminal complaint, Schneider left a voice mail with Nativity of our Lord Church on May 2nd, asking for a blessing on his house. That was followed two days later by another message demanding the church return almost four-thousand dollars in donations Schneider claimed to have made to it–and that if there was no refund, he would get a gun and “kill the entire church”.
The complaint adds that Schneider is schizophrenic and bi-polar. A competency hearing is scheduled for May 17th.
