GREEN BAY, Wis. — A Green Bay man accused in a fatal crash pleads guilty.
Abdi Ahmed, 24, enters the plea in Brown County Court to three counts of Second-Degree Reckless Homicide. He had been charged with three counts of First-Degree Reckless Homicide, but they were amended as part of an agreement with prosecutors.
Ahmed was driving more than 90 miles per hour when his vehicle crashed into another on Lombardi Avenue in June of 2020. The crash resulted in the deaths of Jesse Saldana, Sonia Gonzalez-Guillen and Sonia Gonzalez.
Ahmed is scheduled to be sentenced on Aug. 8.
