Child with lighter starts fire at Allouez home

ALLOUEZ, WI, —  A child playing with a lighter is determined to be the cause of a house fire in Allouez. Green Bay Metro Fire Department crews were called to the home along the 600-block of Mission Road early Thursday afternoon to find flames and smoke coming from the roof. Firefighters were able to bring the fire under control within 30-minutes. One of the occupants of the home was treated at the scene for a minor injury. The fire displaced four adults, three children and a dog.
