They’re a little creepy, they’re annoying, they’re always unwanted, they’re ants.
It doesn’t help to know that if they all teamed up and wanted to take over the human race, they probably could since there are 20 quadrillion ants estimated to be on Earth. That’s 2.5 million per person. Not great.
People are regretting that they know what an ant’s face looks like after seeing Dr. Eugenijus Kavaliauskas’ photo he recently shot for Nikon’s 2022 Small World photography competition. He didn’t win, but he did manage to capture an incredible up-close look at a carpenter ant’s face – and it’s nightmare fuel.
I really don’t like this. It’s like straight out of an alien movie. In fact, all insects are like straight out of an alien movie. Could you imagine if these things were the size of dogs?! Or horses?! Eek. There would be no humans because we all would have died of heart attacks thousands of years ago.
