Mariah Carey announced this week that she’ll celebrate the holidays with a couple of Christmas concerts in New York City and Toronto.
She posted online, “Lil' excited to be back on stage and get festive with everybody!!”
The Merry Christmas To All! shows will take place on December 11 in Toronto and December13 at Madison Square Garden.
Carey’s fans call her The Queen of Christmas, but she balks at that title. In the past, she said, “I'm someone that loves Christmas, that happened to be blessed to write 'All I Want For Christmas Is You.' And let's face it, you know, everybody's faith is what it is. But to me, the virgin Mary is the Queen of Christmas.”
Tickets for the shows will be available to the general public starting this Friday, October 28.
