Happy Star Wars Day! May the 4th be with you!
Full disclosure, I’m a pretty big Star Wars geek. I wouldn’t say I’m over the top, but I’m in the thick of it. I definitely have a lightsaber chilling on my ottoman right now, which is next to at least 3 Star Wars blankets, which is just adjacent to a Baby Yoda doll which isn’t too far away from 4 different Star Wars Lego builds. So, I mean, I barely like it.

In order from my most favorite to least, let’s dive in.
#1: The Force Awakens
#2: Return of The Jedi
#3: A New Hope
#4: Attack of The Clones
#5: The Rise of Skywalker
#6 The Empire Strikes Back
#7: The Last Jedi
#8: The Phantom Menace
#9: Revenge of The Sith
#10: Rogue One
#11: Solo
For clarity, my list changes often, but for now that’s where I’m at. Rogue One, while a great story from a new perspective, get’s a lot of praise from Star Wars fans, but it just doesn’t leave me feeling fulfilled, even though it had one of the most badass Darth Vader scenes in the entire franchise. And they decided to make it like 10 seconds long (eye roll). Without trying to be overly dramatic, that scene (below), with that intense build-up, is one of the greatest scenes in the entire collection. The way the movie pieces the story together and leads right up to the original, A New Hope, is really cool. Also, Princess Leia (!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)
Jeez, I should probably move Rogue One up a lil bit with all that praise, huh? I think I just talked myself into liking that movie more now, making this entire list nonsense. Which maybe should be the point, after all. Let’s just all love and appreciate Star Wars today. And every day after, forever.
The great thing about being a Star Wars fan is that every single movie is on Disney+. Not that I don’t already own them all… twice over… or anything…
