OSHKOSH, Wis. — The receiver operating the Oshkosh Arena cannot determine how much the owners owe in debt and to whom it is owed.
Attorney Paul Swanson, who was appointed receiver of the Oshkosh Arena while its builder, Bayland Buildings, forecloses on the property, has filed a notice that the owners, Fox Valley Pro Basketball, have refused to provide him with any financial information as to how much they owe other creditors.

Bayland foreclosed on the arena after FVPB stopped making payments on their $12 million mortgage this spring and failed to pay more than $680,000 in property taxes to the city this year.
Swanson says he has been forced to use the list of creditors Fox Valley Pro Basketball President Greg Pierce provided during the company’s 2020 bankruptcy filing to determine who might be owed additional money. That list includes the State Department of Revenue, which took Pierce to court for failing to pay unemployment insurance premiums in 2023, Future Bucks, LLC, which owns the Wisconsin Herd and who threatened to terminate their lease with the arena for breach of contract, and Cintas, which has a lien against the arena for failure to pay for custodial services.
