TOWN OF SEYMOUR, Wis. — A 24-year-old Appleton man is seriously injured in a single-vehicle crash Saturday.
The Outagamie County Sheriff’s Office was alerted to the crash around 11:45 p.m. and dispatched to the intersection of Highway 55 and Cicero Road in the town of Seymour.
A preliminary investigation found that the vehicle was southbound on Highway 55 when it went into a ditch, rolled over multiple times and ejected the man from the vehicle. He was airlifted to a local hospital for treatment.
Investigators do not believe alcohol was a factor in the crash, which closed Highway 55 for nearly four hours.
The man’s name has not been released.
