Everybody is putting together their Halloween songs list today – Top 10, Top 5, Ultimate Halloween Playlist…yada, yada yada.
There are endless songs from which to choose, countless amazing offerings, from the uber-Halloween themed “Monster Mash” to the legit album cuts that fit the theme, like “Witchy Woman” and Stevie’s “Superstition.”
I like these lists. I enjoy compiling my own. And while I appreciate the opportunity to crank the Oingo Boingo and Rockwell and DJ Jazzy Jeff & The Fresh Prince without judgement today, no list (IMHO) carries a shred of credibility if it does not begin and end with Bette.
