BEAVER DAM, WI — The man arrested in the case of a missing, pregnant teenage girl from Beaver Dam is now in the custody of Wisconsin law enforcement. WISN TV says 40-year-old Gary Day of Arkansas was extradited from Nebraska to Wisconsin Wednesday. He was arrested earlier this month at an Omaha-area truck stop following a 9-1-1 call from a citizen. Police arrived and also found Sophia Franklin, who’s pregnant with Day’s child. Both disappeared in February from Franklin’s home in Beaver Dam. She has since been reunited with her family. Day faces charges of child abduction and child enticement.
