GREEN BAY, Wis. — Green Bay police are investigating a death.
A passerby reported finding a woman’s body in the East River near the 500 block of Eastman Avenue shortly after 4:45 p.m. Wednesday.
The body was removed from the water about a half-hour later.
While the cause of death is not yet known, police do not believe the public is in any danger.
