PLATTEVILLE, Wis. — Two students are dead following an incident on UW-Platteville’s main campus.
Police were called to the Wilgus residence hall around 4 p.m. Monday on the report of a “situation.”
No specific details on the incident have been released, but the students have been identified as Kelsie Martin of Beloit and Hallie Helms of Baraboo.
Police did say that the incident was isolated and there is no ongoing threat to the campus.
UW-Platteville has canceled all remaining final exams at its main and Baraboo campuses this week.
The incident remains under investigation.
