Mario Kart is surely one of the greatest games of all time. It will also destroy friendships and upend a stable, harmonious home (if played correctly, of course). Things can get downright ugly during these battles. It’s the closest thing we have to dueling or jousting in modern times.
The game is so crazy and logsitcally a nightmare to try to recreate in real life, however… they came pretty darn close in Vietnam! Someone decided that a downhill go-kart battle royale was a really good idea and made our dreams come true. Or nightmares, honestly, this looks straight up DANGEROUS! Good thing that’s my middle name.
