Week 2 of the NFL is wrapping up, and following her August engagement to Travis Kelce, Taylor Swift made her return to Arrowhead Stadium for the Chiefs’ first home game of the season.
The game happened to be a rematch of the 2025 Super Bowl, between the Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles. Unfortunately for Chiefs fans, the night ended in disappointment with a 20–17 loss. The game took an especially rough turn for Kelce, who missed a fourth-quarter catch in the end zone that tipped into the hands of an Eagles defender and set up their game-winning touchdown.
This time, we didn’t get that grand entrance that we usually see from Taylor for the games. Instead, her security team hid her entrance, setting up a moving wall that she walked behind as she made her way into the stadium.

Of course, this won’t be Taylor’s last appearance in the stands. Fans can expect plenty more game-day outfits, adorable post-game moments, and glimpses of her proudly cheering on her fiancé throughout the season.
According to People magazine, a source close to Swift said she has been “really looking forward to the upcoming NFL season.” The insider explained, “Not just because she loves supporting Travis, but because for the first full season since they started dating, she’s not juggling a packed tour schedule.”
They added, “This fall will be completely different. It’s the first season where she’s not constantly flying back and forth or trying to work around an entire touring calendar.”
Considering how much she poured into her global Eras Tour last year, performing back-to-back shows across countries while still making time for her relationship and cheering on Travis, it’s not hard to imagine how exhausting that balancing act must have been.
But just because her tour wrapped up, doesn’t mean she isn’t still working hard behind the scenes. Her 12th studio album, The Life of a Showgirl, comes out October 3rd! That’s only a little over two weeks away, but who’s counting…
