APPLETON, Wis. — An Appleton man will spend three years in prison for a shooting incident at Erb Park.
Tyrese Simmons is also sentenced in Outagamie County Court to three years on extended supervision for second-degree reckless endangerment and being a felon in possession of a firearm.
Simmons opened fire at a group of juveniles he believed were responsible for stealing a cellphone in June of 2024.
No one was hurt in that incident.
