OSHKOSH, Wis. — An Oshkosh man will spend 18 months in prison and nine months in jail for abusing his dogs.
Travis Gant is also sentenced in Winnebago County Court to three years on extended supervision for intimidation of a victim, intentional mistreatment of an animal and bail jumping.
Gant was charged after a child alerted police that he was abusing dogs in his home.
At sentencing, Gant maintained the dogs injured themselves…………
Gant also threatened to harm those living in the house if they told anyone about the animal abuse.
