Karol G has donated $1 million to help communities affected by the powerful earthquake that struck Colombia on August 10. The contribution was announced during the Colombia: Voces por la Vida benefit concert in Bogotá, where artists came together to raise funds for families impacted by the disaster.
During the event, organizers confirmed that Karol G made the donation through her Con Cora Foundation. The money will support relief and reconstruction efforts following the magnitude 7.4 earthquake, which caused widespread damage and affected thousands of people across the country.
Karol G joined the benefit remotely from Los Angeles, performing Coleccionando Heridas as part of the program. Her appearance added to a large lineup of Colombian and international artists who donated their time to the fundraising effort.
