FOND DU LAC, Wis. — Bond is reduced for a Fond du Lac County man in a multiyear stalking case who was later found to have human remains in his house.
In Fond du Lac County Court Monday, Benjamin Larson’s bond was reduced from $250,000 cash to $150,000. His attorneys argued that testing on certain evidence might take longer than expected.
Larson was charged earlier this month with three counts of receiving stolen property, one count of felony bail jumping and one count of resisting or obstructing an officer.
He was originally charged with stalking after a Madison woman reported Larson stalked her for 13 years. A search of Larson’s home led to the discovery of poisons, human bones and memorabilia allegedly linked to serial killers Ed Gein and John Wayne Gacy.
A status conference is set for Nov. 5.
