A string of social media posts reveal more erratic behavior from a member of the Oshkosh School Board. The thread started with a Facebook post by Winnebago County Executive candidate Jon Doemel saying that he had been banned from the Positively Oshkosh group–which is administered by School Board Member Stephanie Carlin. The original post was in response to a picture on the Positively page that promoted several “liberal” candidates for local office next month and encouraging people to vote for them. Carlin answers Doemel’s post by claming he is lying about why he is banned from the group–and claiming “The Sheriff’s report will be coming out soon. And your comments will be included.”
Outgoing Greater Oshkosh Economic Development Corporation C-E-O Jason White then joins the fray tagging Carlin and posting “I asked you to leave me and my family alone weeks ago. You said that you would then start sending me ‘anonymous’ threats 50 feet from where you sit in my office. You work for GO-HNI and they lease from us. I haven’t contacted you at all”. Earlier this year, Carlin was cited for trespassing at a storage unit owned by Oshkosh Corporation C-E-O Wilson Jones–at which time she claimed that Jones had been harassing her.
A number of the posts have since been removed, but we have screenshots posted on our website and on our Facebook page.
