Neenah residential and business customers will benefit from an electrical service upgrade from We Energies.
The utility provider is currently replacing 50 miles of electrical lines, poles and related electrical devices. When completed, the power lines will be moved underground. Utility spokesman Matt Cullen says that will reduce weather related risks and be more attractive to potential commercial development.
Work on the project is expected to be finished by next year.
