A parent in the De Pere School District is suing to lift the COVID-19 protocols required for students and staff. Stephanie McManus–who is also a substitute teacher in De Pere–claims the policy was created without required statutory or constitutional authority. She also argues that the quarantines required by the district results in too much lost time for students. District officials say they have not yet been served with that lawsuit.
