Rittenhouse juror dismissed due to Jacob Blake joke

A juror is dismissed from the Kyle Rittenhouse murder trial after telling a joke about Jacob Blake. A Kenosha County Sheriff’s deputy reported the incident to the judge. The comments were made while the juror was being escorted to his car this week. The juror was questioned about the incident and admitted to making the joke. His dismissal leaves a pool of 19 jurors to hear the rest of the trial. Twelve of them will render the verdict. Blake was shot by a Kenosha police officer, sparking the protests and rioting that led to Rittenhouse coming to Kenosha–where he shot and killed two men and injured a third.
