Arson charges filed against Fond du Lac man accused of setting fire to his own house

Criminal charges are filed against a Fond du Lac man accused of setting fire to his house. Nathaneal Hankerson is facing counts of Arson and Criminal Damage to Property. Hankerson allegedly set the fire inside his home along Macy Street December 7th. He reportedly told investigators he wanted to destroy all of his earthly possessions so he would have a “shortcut to heaven”. If convicted, Hankerson would face up to 43-years in prison.
