Staff shortages brought on by post- winter break increases in COVID-19 could result in expanded virtual instruction in the Green Bay Area Public School District. The district made that announcement just within the past hour. The staff shortages are being complicated by the lack of COVID-19 test options and delayed results. Decisions on when virtual learning will take place will be made the night before. Families will be notified by text, email and automated calls. The district says in a news released that when virtual learning is adopted, the goal will be to return to in-person learning after three days.
