Details released on high speed chase in the Fox Cities

Kaukauna Police release details on a high speed chase this week. The January 2nd incident started around midnight with the theft of a vehicle from a Grand Chute gas station. A State Patrol trooper pursued the vehicle northbound on Interstate 41–but had to break off the chase. Fox Valley Metro and Kaukauna Police picked up the pursuit–which hit speeds of 100-miles an hour. Officers were able to blow out the tires on the vehicle just north of Delanglade Street. A 37-year old woman was taken into custody a short time later. She will be charged with Auto Theft, Reckless Endangerment, and Eluding an Officer. No one was hurt in the incident.
