Increases in COVID-19 cases have the Oshkosh Area School District extending masking mandates for all students and staff through January 28th. The district previously planned to allow optional masking on January 14th. Superintendent Brian Davis explains in a video released this afternoon, the goal is to better maintain in-person school attendance.
Superintendent Davis also says limited virtual learning is also being considered.
The District also reduced its staff isolation and quarantine from 10 days to five days in certain situations. The 10-day isolation for students or 7-day isolation for contact with family members with corona virus remains in effect.
