An Outagamie County Sheriff’s deputy battling COVID-19 is out of the hospital.
According to his Go Fund Me page, Channing Pompa is at a rehabilitation center.
Pompa was admitted to the hospital on September 26th and then was transferred to an out-of-state facility to received advance care for severe COVID-related pneumonia.
His wife expects Pompa to be in the rehab center for about a month before he can return home.
He usually patrolled the town of Buchanan and the Village of Combined Locks.
