Neenah lifts mask mandate in municipal buildings

Mandatory masking ends in Neenah city government buildings. Mayor Dean Kaufert announces that he’s rescinding the masking order effective immediately. Kaufert bases that on reports showing the number coronavirus cases dropping dramatically. Winnebago County reports 414 confirmed COVID cases over the past week. That compares with 682 cases last week and 1,749 cases two weeks ago. People will still be able to mask-up if they choose and mitigation efforts like hand-washing are still being encouraged.
